Somebody recently asked me to write something on neonicotinoides. At first, I was rather reluctant since the topic can raise a few hackles, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought I should write something up.

Preserving your own food may seem like an unnecessary burdan in today's day and age, but I believe it's something everybody should do at least once in their lives.

Being a farmer in Canada isn't an easy task. We're at the mercy of the weather and we're assaulted at all angles from consumers and the media.
